All About Boats is an independently owned, full service boat repair and service company located in Youngsville, North Carolina. Owner, Raleigh, NC's Chuck Richter teamed up with Head Service Mechanic, Terry Drum, and opened All About Boats in 2006.

We also have our main Boat Repair Service and Outdoor Storage Facility off of US Highway 1, just north of Wake Forest in Youngsville. We also have a new boat storage and boat parts facility in Henderson, NC that can serve both the Lake Gaston or Kerr Lake areas as well as the Wake Forest, NC and Raleigh, NCareas for all of your boat part needs.

Our specialty is marine engine service and repair. You can drop off your boat, or we will pick up your boat with our trailer, complete all of the requested services, and return the boat to you water-ready!
If you need outside boat storage, RVs, or campers, we have 2 acres of outside storage in Youngsville, so if you prefer that your boat, RV, or camper is out of your yard or slip, we offer outdoor storage for $40 per month. Call 919-570-0200, and ask about our packages.

We also have a large indoor Boat Storage warehouse facility in Henderson, North Carolina.
After your boat has been sitting in storage all winter, it needs a little TLC. We will give your boat motor and trailer a thorough inspection, to make sure there are no surprises on the water. We’ll start with an inspection of the trailer lights, brakes, bearings and tires. Then, we will start and run your motor to ensure you and your boat spend more time on the water and less time in the shop. Prices will be boat and engine specific.
After a long boating season, your boat deserves a rest. Let All About Boats prepare it for storage. We will go through your boat to properly diagnose any problems you may have had over the summer. Then we will winterize your engine to ensure it will be ready for the next upcoming season. Let us put together a winterization package for you combining winterizing, storage and a spring service. Prices will be boat and engine specific.
