Mark your calendars for February 6 – 8, 2015, for the Capital Region’s 35thannual Times Union Home Expo, an extravaganza for homeowners and residential/commercial vendors, with info booths on everything from cultivating a garden to adding deck furniture, high-quality gutters to stellar bath and kitchen renovations. As the area’s largest and longest-running event of its kind, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for ideas for spring projects, inspiration or just browsing home improvements large to small.
Beat the cabin fever blues by attending this popular mid-winter event, centrally located in two of Albany’s premier buildings, The Times Union Center, and Empire State Plaza. Previously known as the Great Northeast Home Show, the event has grown by leaps and bounds. Last year, some 7,500 people attended; this year, we’re anticipating a crowd of 10,000 over three days, thanks to the pre-publicity and planning, exciting new offerings and larger attractions.
Plan to bring the family to the Home Expo for all three days so you don’t miss anything from our more than 350 vendors:
- Friday, Feb. 6, Hours: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 7, Hours: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 8, Hours: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Attendees should wear walking shoes to cover plenty of ground in two buildings to discover the newest in-home and garden trends, with face-to-face tips from the experts. Far better than searching the web, the Home Expo brings together professionals from a wide array of home-related businesses, offering tips, new products, fresh ideas and fantastic deals. Try samples from food distributors, attend a how-to seminar or live cooking demonstration. Bring the kids for special children’s activities.
